Mary McDougall has been actively involved in the health profession as a nurse and an educator for several decades. She has created hundreds of recipes with ingredients that support our innate healing processes and good health. What makes her unique in this very natural way of cooking is that her recipes taste great! She is gifted with a talent to put together basic starches, vegetables, and fruits with a delightful blend of spices into dishes that are delicious and easy to prepare.

She co-authored the book, The McDougall Plan, with her husband, John McDougall, MD, and personally teaches each of his patients the basics for a successful diet and lifestyle change. Mary benefits many people by sharing her vast knowledge of healthful cooking through television, newsprint and books.
