UK’s biggest vegan event, Vegan Camp Out, is gearing up for its 9th annual gathering, showcasing an impressive lineup of performers, chefs, entrepreneurs, and activists.
Started in 2016 with just 412 people by Jordan Martin and his sister Ellis Goodridge, the festival has grown significantly year by year and now anticipates welcoming 7,500 attendees from around the world.
The 2025 lineup is packed with 23 leading figures from the vegan community, including both new faces and returning favorites. These include plant-based culinary legends Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, aka BOSH!, comedian and author Sara Pascoe, and Kip Andersen, the influential filmmaker behind Cowspiracy and What the Health. There will also be musical performances from the likes of Josh Franceschi from You Me at Six, Mobius Loop, and Etherwood.
Dale Vince, founder of Ecotricity, and chef Alexis Gauthier will share insights into sustainable living and culinary arts, respectively. Adding muscle to the mix, strongman Patrik Baboumian and popular content creators like Cheap Lazy Vegan and Hench Herbivore will showcase the strength and flavor of plant-based living.

Jordan Martin, the founder of the Vegan Camp Out, shared his enthusiasm for this year’s festival, saying, “We’re back for Vegan Camp Out number 9, which is incredible to say! With 23 names to announce on the line-up (including 8 who have never been before!). This is going to be a very special one as we return back with a new and stunning venue that has lots of trees, woodland and the option to come a whole day earlier from Thursday.”
Taking place from Friday, August 29 to Monday, September 1, 2025, the event will be held at Bygrave Woods, Hertfordshire, SG7 5DX.
The new location supports a reduced capacity of just 7,500 people, ensuring a more intimate experience. Attendees can enjoy music spun by 40 DJs in a new woodland DJ area that goes until the early hours, alongside a wellness and spa area complete with hot tubs, a sauna, and a cold plunge.
The festival caters to a diverse demographic with a specialized family area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for younger guests. This secure zone features amenities tailored for families, including private showers and toilets, and various children’s activities like face painting, games, and even a bouncy castle. Anyone who buys a child ticket will automatically be camped here.
With the biggest selection of vegan food in UK history, the festival each year features a diverse range of fully plant-based food from vendors across the country. More details on this culinary feast will be announced soon.
As one of the top three food festivals in the UK and the world’s most talked-about vegan event, Vegan Camp Out is a cornerstone of the vegan community. With tickets selling fast and over 40% already sold, prospective attendees are encouraged to book early. Tickets can be purchased through Ticket Pulse, with additional options for glamping, tent hires, and coach travel available through partnering sites.
Once again, Vegan organization Viva! is partnering with Vegan Camp Out, continuing their long-standing support for this transformative event.
